Touro College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, (MSCHE) an agency recognized by the United States Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

This status covers Touro College and its branch campuses, locations, and instructional sites in the New York area, as well as branch campuses and programs in Berlin, Jerusalem, Moscow, Paris, and Florida.

Touro University California (TUC) and its Nevada branch campus (TUN), Touro University Worldwide (TUW) and its division Touro College Los Angeles (TCLA) are part of the Touro College and University System,  and separately accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

The College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

The Pharmacy program at TUC is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The Touro College of Pharmacy New York’s Doctor of Pharmacy program has been given the status of Accredited with Probation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), for partial compliance with the following standards: Standard No. 8: Organization and Governance; Standard No. 9: Organizational Culture; Standard No. 10: Curriculum Design, Delivery, and Oversight; Standard No. 12: Pre-Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (Pre-APPE) Curriculum; Standard No. 15: Academic Environment; Standard No. 17: Progression; Standard No. 19: Faculty and Staff – Qualitative Factors; Standard No. 24: Assessment Elements for Section I: Educational Outcomes; and Standard No. 25: Assessment Elements for Section II: Structure and Process. The TUC Graduate School of Education is authorized by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) to offer teacher credentials, special education teaching credentials, and, through the Educational Leadership concentration in its Master of Arts program in Education (MA. Ed), administrative service credentials.

The TUN College of Health and Human Services is authorized by the Nevada State Department of Education to offer Master’s programs leading to licensing in Special Education, School Administration, and Secondary Education, Master’s programs leading to Endorsements in School Counseling, Literacy, or Teaching English as a Second Language, and Endorsements in Autism or TESL.
