Posters - General Instructions

All posters must be reviewed and endorsed by a faculty coordinator appointed by the Division Vice President or school Dean.

Poster Title and Author's guidelines:

After approval from the faculty coordinator, poster titles and author's names can be submitted to Qualtrics by either the coordinator or the author(s).

Note: Poster abstracts are no longer collected and published. Guidelines are provided in link.

  • The submission deadline is April 10, 2018. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Poster creation guidelines:

  • Posters may be no more than six feet long by three feet high (6’ x 3’).
  • The poster must be able to be adhered to the wall (adhesive will be provided).
  • Content format should follow the standard of your discipline.  See the samples of layouts and guidance about posters hosted by the Touro College Library.

Poster hanging and removal:

  • Posters may be mounted on May 1 between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. at designated positions to which researchers will be directed upon arrival at Touro COM.
  • Posters must be taken down by 5:00 p.m. on May 1.
  • Note:  The College of Osteopathic Medicine has 21 pre-mounted poster display wood frames for posters that measure 36” x 48”.  If your poster meets those dimensions, it will be assigned use of a frame based upon the order of submission of your abstract.
