New York Issuing Scorecards on Teacher Colleges

New York City released scorecards to evaluate 12 teacher-preparation programs and, in addition to ranking as one of the top schools overall, the Touro College Graduate School of Education had the largest percentage of teachers certified in special education, at 86 percent, double the citywide average. Pictured is Komi Agoda-Koussema, a professor at the Graduate School of Education, leading a class on bilingual and multicultural education.
