How Real and Widespread Is It, and How Can We Respond to It?

Students and community members are invited to join Touro President Dr. Alan Kadish and special guest, Rep. Mark Meadows (R- North Carolina) − a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Subcommittee on Middle East and North Africa − for what promises to be a lively and engaging interactive forum.

About the speaker:

Congressman Meadows has been an outspoken advocate for Israel’s right to self-defense and has made protecting the U.S.-Israel strategic partnership a top priority. A real estate developer and former restaurant owner, Congressman Meadows has served the 11th Congressional District in western North Carolina since 2013 and is recognized for his conservative positions on key initiatives, including business and defense. He was a congressional delegate to the United Nations General Assembly and currently serves on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee as well as the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

The program is presented as part of the Touro College Presidential Lecture Series and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
